’Cakes Galore

Pancakes weren’t the only attractions to kids at the fourth annual Caring for Kids Initiative breakfast, held April 22 at Wayzata Country Club. In addition to the free breakfast goods, attendees learned how CfKI is making a difference in the lives of children in our community through its scholarship program and partnerships to ensure that all kids are ready for success in school and life.

 


Plymouth Library Grand Opening

At long last! Families came out in droves for the official opening of the long-anticipated renovated Plymouth Library on March 13. Kids and parents alike got their first look at the new space, including comfy reading areas, multimedia centers and rows upon rows of great books.

A Gala Evening for Wayzata High School

The Wayzata High School community came out in support of the school’s Fund-A-Need Program, which provides supplies, activity fees, and more to high school students who otherwise could not afford to participate. In the past five years, the gala has raised $300,000 for the program. This year’s event was held at the Sheraton Minneapolis West in Minnetonka.
