Old-fashioned Heritage
At Plymouth’s annual Old Fashioned Christmas event, Gary Schiebe of Plymouth Historical Society shares not only the spirit of the holiday, but also the heritage of Old City Hall. Joining on the ensemble making this vivid event fun for the whole family is storyteller Bob Gasch, and the latest incarnation of Mrs. Claus, Julie Nikola.
Opening Wabi Sabi
November saw the grand opening event of our city’s newest décor shop, Wabi Sabi. Owner Kay Frnadsen hosted a night of food and wine to the hundreds in attendance.
JustGifts Market
There were no candy canes or other traditional holiday stocking-stuffers at St. Barnabas’s annual JustGifts Market. But the sixth-annual installment of the alternative Christmas market did bring in great funds from its sale of fair trade and utilitarian gifts (think fruit tree kits) for those in need around the world.
