Shelter 4 Life

 Shelter For Life, an international aid organization based in Maple Grove, hosted its 25th Anniversary Benefit on October 22 at Tillie’s Bean on Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis. The event raised enough money to buy 15 fruit trees for families of Northern Afghanistan and help construct a house in Southern Sudan.

Autumn Art Fair

Art lovers of all kinds flocked to the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes on September 19–20 for the Maple Grove Arts Council’s Autumn Art Fair. More than 70 different artists displayed their work, while musical entertainment was provided by Locklin Road and the Maple Grove Arts Council’s Jazz Ensemble.
