Chef's Night Off will feature cooking tips from some of the Twin Cities finest culinary minds.

Have you ever wanted to sneak into the kitchen at your favorite local restaurant, watch the chef at work and come away with a few of their culinary secrets?
“Chef’s Night Off” will allow you to do just that.
Presented by Midtown Global Market’s Kitchen in the Market, Twin Cities METRO and Mpls/St. Paul Magazine, the series of events will feature some of the area’s best chefs giving lessons on how to make some of their favorite eats.
The first “Chef’s Night Off” is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 12 and will feature Victory 44’s Chef Erick Harcey, known for his gastropub innovation at the North Minneapolis restaurant.
Other exciting faces you might see at “Chef’s Night Off” classes include chef Scott Pampuch from local, sustainable food-focused Corner Table and the cities most preeminent foodies, including Jason DeRusha, blogger Stephanie Meyer, METRO food writer Mecca Bos and Mpls/St. Paul magazine food editor Stephanie March.
Not only will you come away with some sage cooking advice, proceeds from “Chef’s Night Off” will be donated to the local non-profit Renewing the Countryside, which works to strengthen rural communities by working with activists, entrepreneurs and artists.
+ “Chef’s Night Off” events will be held on Monday, Dec. 12, Monday, Jan. 23 and Monday, Feb. 13 from 6-9 p.m. at Kitchen in the Market. Space is limited to just 12 people per class, and cost is $125 per ticket. For more information visit kitcheninthemarket.com.
