Personal Gaines: Climb OnI'm still sore from the Aerialates® class I took over the weekend. And sore is something I appreciate -- especially this kind of soreness -- my back and core just letting me know they are alive and well. Elizabeth Skwiot, a professional aerialist and certified Pilates instructor, has designed an hour-and-a-half-long class where form meets fun. It reminded me of playing on the bars in grade school, but with some additional techniques that make some fancy looking tricks surprisingly easy . Her approach makes this a great, safe workout for almost all fitness levels and ages. Such a fun way to work the entire body while enlivening your creative spirit. Photo by Angie Reed.
