Calling All Shutterbugs!

We know there are plenty of talented photographers just waiting to be found in our very own Plymouth. That’s why we’re introducing the first ever Picture Plymouth photo contest, where you have a chance to win cash and prizes from the city of Plymouth and other local hotspots, as well as see your photo published in an upcoming issue of Plymouth Magazine.

How do you jump on the photo contest bandwagon, you ask?

It’s simple – just fill out the submission information at plymouthmag.com and upload your images between August 1 and 31 in the categories of people and families, wildlife and nature, activities and events, landmarks and of course, pets. Be sure to check out the rules and guidelines too.

We guess all that’s left to say is, happy snapping!

Hi hi! This was a real fun contest, and there are so many beautiful photos to be voted on! (I liked many that I saw, and I voted for them, too!) If you happen to be looking at the photo of the really lovely girl by the fountain, that is mine. Somehow, the way that it gets cropped on the voting page is funky. Please only look at the thumbnail! ;) xo

I submitted 3 photos and my husband submitted 2. All from Plymouth, we live in Plymouth and yet not one photo is in the peoples vote. Why? Why can't we vote on all the entries?

Same as the first entry. WE want To VOTE on the pohotos submitted NOT submit photos. The dead line for submission has passed. Where can we vote?

According to the Plymouth City newsletter, we can vote for the Reader's Choice photo beginning Sept. 1. Where do we do that? I can't find the photos posted anywhere.

I found where we are to submit our pictures! I called the administration office in plymouth and Helen walked me through the process. Step 1: when you are you the Twin Cities page look under the LEFT photo of the man with the basketball on the magazine cover. Step 2: Click on the PINK square box that says "Plymouth Photo Contest" Step 3: Once on the next page you will see another link to submit your photos. Good Luck everyone! Can't wait to see what you all submit!

I filled out the registration form for the Twin Cities mag stuff, but I also am not able to locate the Plymouth registration form.

Can someone tell please tell me where to find the entry form for the photo contest? I have scoured the www.plymouthmag.com site and cannot find it anywhere. You'd think it would be more visible if it's a current contest...Please help.
