Sommerfest with the Minnesota Orchestra

| Each year, the Minnesota Orchestra helps the Twin Cities celebrate midsummer by assembling a fantastic concert lineup that includes something for everyone. This year’s Sommerfest starts with a bang! On July 3, the orchestra opens the series with A Star-Spangled Salute to America!, which includes everything from our national anthem to the Star Wars theme song. Up-and-coming singer/songwriter Josh Ritter stops in for a show, as does popular 1970’s band America, famous for “Horse with No Name” and “Ventura Highway.” |
