Three-sport athlete Jenny Ramey of New Life Academy in Woodbury was named the Washington County Athlete of the Year by the Pioneer Press. A standout in soccer, basketball and softball, Ramey (who holds 16 varsity letters) is also highly successful in the classroom, heading to Carleton College this fall. The New Life Eagles recently defended their Class A State Softball Championship thanks to the stellar performance of Ramey and her teammates.
