While compiling and categorizing the nearly 80 restaurants included in our "Best Breakfast" cover story this month, the editors of METRO Magazine ate so much breakfast, most of us now have erratic heartbeats and some form of egg-aversion. The result was a substantial list of what we believe are the best breakfasts in town. But we also want to hear from you. Did your favorite gem make the list? Did we foolishly forget the most obvious, everybody-knows-it, fantastic, located-in-the-basement-of-my-suburban-apartment restaurant? Think Perkin's "tremendous 12" is aptly named and deserving of a mention? Well, mention it and start the discussion below.

As one who has enjoyed breakfast at both Emily's F&M and the new Brickhouse BBQ Joint this past month, I have to agree with Rich that both places are great. And they are about a third less in cost than the southside breakfast joints I frequent. I know Emily's will continue to provide great food into the coming year. I hope Brickhouse also has a successful run at it.

Sadly, it seems that no one ventured to the Northside. Emily's F&M Cafe is a Minneapolis classic and serves up great diner food. And the new BBQ joint on Lyndale North (which features spectacular BBQ sauce and amazing ribs and chicken) has a great breakfast spread as well.

I myself prefer a bowl of cereal in the morning. I wish there was a blog out there that addressed my interests.
