New Farmer's Market in Uptown

It’s looking like local food enthusiasts will have yet another option for getting their fruit and veggie on this summer. But not only that. According to the website: “The Minneapolis Uptown Market is a street market with local artisans, craftspeople, small business owners, area farmers, and neighbors. Affordable, unique goods from both emerging and established local vendors.

The market is scheduled to be held four times in 2009, on the third Sundays of June, July, August and September and will be located on 29th Street, between Lyndale Ave. S. and Dupont.

The market is also seeking vendors. See website for details.

Awesome, that's right by my house. I wish it were going to be open more often than once a month though. The odds that I will remember to go aren't so great. I'm gonna try though!
