Y'all heard that Randy Norman is out at the R. Norman's steak place that opened on the main level of the complex at 7th & Hennepin last year. You already probably saw the new signage indicating that it's been renamed Seven Steakhouse. 

Now, it's also decided to stop lunch service, just for the winter, a no brainer when you're not connected by skyway. 

So, with the new 3:30 opening time comes a special weekday happy hour that runs from 3:30 - 6:30, Monday through Friday. It includes a $7 food menu with a number of items...too many to name them all here but highlights include lamb lollipops, an East Coast style lobster roll, a blue cheese bison slider with truffle fries and half a dozen specialty sushi rolls. There's another $3 menu where you choose any three items for three dollars like oysters, shrimp cocktail, an Asian style rib and the like. Now that's just about recession-proof as they say these days.

Last but not least, $7 martinis, from the very basic with a blue-cheese stuffed olive, to a lemon pucker to a Hendricks/grapefruit combo that's been dubbed the V.P. martini. Sub another vodka or gin for just a dollar more.
