For the truly brew obsessed, Surly will be releasing the seasonal antithesis to their typical hopped-up beers, Surly Mild, at Grumpy's N.E. Hopheads may be disappointed with this seasonal release, but it may be the perfect session beer. "Session beer?" you ask. For those unacquainted to this type of beer, sessions typically have low blood alcohol content or ABV. That means you can drink, oh, let's say a half dozen without falling on your butt afterward. Typically these beers lack flavor, but expect plenty of wallop with faint "biscuit and tobacco" flavors and a "dry finish." Tuesday also marks Grumpy's hot dish happy hour. Minnesota-made beer and hot dish is a match made only in the land o' lakes.
