A Rhymesayers Benefit for Haiti @ First Avenue

Charity benefits for Haiti have been popping up everywhere recently, but according to Rhymesayers' Toki Wright, respect for humanity is what this one's is all about. And with every penny of the proceeds donated to Oxfam America, Doctors Without Borders, and Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti, what’s not to respect? Slug of Atmosphere will host the event, which features a lineup rather reminiscent of Soundset – including performances by Twin Cities sluggers Brother Ali, I Self Devine, Doomtree’s Sims, BK-One, Toki Wright, DJ Otto and Muja Messiah, as well as out of town indie-rappers Freeway and Jake One. Needless to say, this is one benefit you won't want to miss.

Tuesday, February 9
7 p.m.
$20

701 First Ave. N., Mpls
