This event is destined go down in Twin Cites folklore alongside the Art Shanty Projects and the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships. Combining two childhood loves, art and sleds, the Art Sled Rally is taking over Powderhorn this Saturday. This annual event amidst the rolling hills of Powderhorn Park will feature some familiar faces for anyone that's been to the Mayday Parade. Some of the best sleds from past years were a snowboarding woolly mammoth, a belly flopping bear and an über-nerdy X-Wing sled. Though most participants have been building their sleds for weeks, onlookers are welcome and you can even bring your own rig to the northwest slopes of Powderhorn Park. Cowabunga dudes!

Saturday, January 30
